Ground of denial: Preexisting disease
Applicant complaint: Unjustified denial due to following reasons:
1)The disease suffered by my father was first detected in august 2008, he was been admitted to Karla Hospital for the same reason and we also filed a claim which was admitted in full. (Last year Policy number: 2825-6000-0524, Claim number: 09107374). Then why this time the case was denied on flimsy ground of disease being pre-existing.
2)The facts of the case were discussed in details with my father’s doctor: Mr. R N Karla founder of Karla Hospital New Delhi and he reiterated that the disease was not more than one year old (first detected in August 2008) and he is willing to give his written declaration (if required) supporting the above statement in front of IRDA or consumer court.
I have already presented the entire case to reliance repeatedly but all my efforts are futile.
Under these circumstances we have been denied for a bonafide claim, hence I would like to request IRDA to kindly help us to get clarification and substantiate the denial under the revised facts of the case from reliance.
