I purchased a Usha Sew Lite Dx Auto Sewing Machine thru online from Homeshop18 vide in no. OL 2204 dtd 8th Feb 2013, which had an warranty period of 1 yr, since my purchase there was no demo or service done. my 1st compliant was on 6th Nov 13, and after much difficulty and follow-up withe the customer care, one person Mr. Chandraprasad bothered to come up and made some temp alteration and told me that the seatle has to be changed and told me to take to service station, which is not feasible for me and then he told me that he did not have the part and has to arrange for it, if i lodge a fresh compliant that I did on 16.11.13, then I got call from a female from bangalore and told me that the issue would be sorted out within 24 hrs. since 16.11.13 till today i am regularly calling usha customer care @ 18001033111 morning and evening, the executive who comes on typically confirms the compliant, name, etc., and says that the compliant will be escalated on high priority and that i will get a service call within 24 hrs, sometimes, the persons says that they will make an arrangement of call back from the flr manager Mr. Sanjay Gupta, whom I spoke to him on 23.11.13 and told me that a person will surely come and attend the compliant on 25.11.13, and when i told my disappointment he told that I’ve spoken to the manager and it will surely be taken care. since 25.11.13 I am continuously contacting the customer care and that today on 26.11.13 I was deliberately put on hold thrice and cut for 9 min, 23 min, 12 min and on without any botheration to attend the call from other side. Sanjay Gupta is not interested to come on call or sort out the problem. I am in a state of shock, how can Usha such a old and reputed company handle its customers like filth. Dont we have any other work, other than calling these people and saying our problem repeatedly but remains unsolved. Now my machine is not running properly with lot of noise, very slowly and the stitching are very bad. How can I use my machine now. I am fed up with the whole process and attitude shown from Usha customer care and want them to compensate me of Rs.50000 for the harassment made to me
The customer service is highly inefficient and not organized, the customers problems are no properly attended and if attended they only sustain for a month or 2. We want a compensation of 50,000 for ignoring the customer complaint and not offering a replacement of new machine. Nor it was mentioned while purchase that this a demo unit only for training purpose.
