Vodafone Excess Billing – Review

My name is Amit Jain and my contact number is 97110XXX22 with Vodafone which I am using since last 7 years Oct’08 till date and I am using a samsung Guru handset which cannot be used for data or any services apart from calling and text messaging and my bill has never exceeded more then Rs500/- till Jan’15 but on 31st Jan’15 I received a text message from vodafone services which says your request has accepted to change the talkplan,I got surprised and called vodafone customer services and they said its a price revision from current talkplan convergy Rs180/- to Rs199/- hence I agreed because it was a company revised price policy but when I received a bill online on 24th Feb’15 for the month of Jan’15 it was for Rs1949.45/- when I contacted customer services they said that you made a request for the internet talkplan for Rs1250/- per month which I didn’t agree, later a representative accepted the mistake as she said that it was a corporate mistake and I have forwarded the complaint but when I received a callback from complaints team they said that we deactivated the Rs1250/- plan for internet and now you will get a normal bill for Rs199/- rental for talktime but we can’t do anything for the bill which has already been generated hence I am very disappointed with the response and need to get it resolved before my bill due date which is 14/03/15 so that I will not be penalized for the late payment fees, as I always make payments before due date well in advance.

I demand Waiver of the total charge which has been applied without my consent.
