I Ruturaj Mokashi currently active on the number 91 9923323xxx under vodafone corporate plan. I recently raised an issue regarding inappropriate billing from Vodafone due to gross negligence from one of your representatives. This issue was noted under reference no. 1482068956. This is my fourth or fifth official mail to vodafone and the issue still remains unresolved. Let me provide you with brief snapshot about the problem: I was active under 599 Rs BBM Plan till January and then called Vodafone to discontinue the use of plan as i switched to other mobile and wanted a normal 3G plan instead. The representative briefed me about 499 Rs 3G plan. After getting the details, i told your representatives to deactivate the 599 Rs BBM plan and activate the new 3G plan i.e 499 Rs plan. The representative confirmed by saying that BBM plan will be deactivated and new plan will come into effect after few hours. When i received the bill details for this month, I found that the amount was not making sense. I called Vodafone and spoke to Mr Prasad and Mr Ravi, they told me that i was being charged extra as the 599 Rs BBM plan is still active. The BBM plan was not deactivated by your representative and i am being penalized for the mistake. While taking to Mr Ravi, Senior Supervisor at Vodafone, he confirmed that i have been wrongly billed and the accepted the grave mistake. He told me that as both plans were active i.e 599 & 499, i didn’t get benefits for 599 plan and was charged heavily. He also confirmed that my bill will be revised as soon as possible. When i first raised this issue, after many mails and a brief conversation with customer care representatives and senior supervisors, my bill was revised by waiving off 599 Rs . But what about the usage charge ? I was told later by your representatives that, when the customer who is active on BBM plan switches to another mobile platform, without deactivating BBM plan gets charged per kbps and does avail the benefit of the plan. Sir, i as an end user of the service, I am only aware about your standard billing process i.e and this is what the told to other customers as well 1. Internet Plan + Call plan + STD charges + Caller Tune = Standard plan This is what is explained by your representatives. But i was never told, informed or notified that the billing would be different if i switch the sim to other mobile. As the plan BBM plan was still in effect due to negligence from your end to deactivate it. I was charged falsely and unethically without any prior information through Vodafone connect. The usage sumed upto 4000Rs through vodafone connect It means that the new plan which i activated after confirming the deactivation of old BBM plan, didn’t give me any benefits and was charged falsely for the usage At the end with conversation with vodafone billing representative Mr Karan, I as per the conversation i clearly mentioned that i was not notified or alerted about the
Sir, i humbly request you to take appropriate action and revise the bill by waiving off the usage charge i.e 4000 from the current bill so that i can go ahead and pay as per standard plan which is in effect
