Vodafone – Miscommunication and mental harassment

Dear concern, I want to place a complaint against Vodafone for mentally harassing and miscommunication regarding my consumption. The whole issue is that i am having a postpaid connection from Vodafone and i am also having internet service on the same number(2gb @ Rs. 98). I was successfully using my internet service through my cellphone in the month of june 2013 and i was also getting the service messages from Vodafone regarding my internet data consumption. first i got the message stating that i have consumed 1200 mb of data,few days later i got another message stating that i have consumed 1600 MBs of data. Then i decided to plan my usage accordingly as it was starting of july month and my bill gets generated on every 10th of the month and i stopped using internet since then. Suddenly around 7th or 8th july my outstanding got barred and when i contacted Vodafone customer care for the same i got to know that my consumptions have got overlimit . My limit from Vodafone is approx. 6900. and my consumptions were 7100 aprox. when i emphasized that why my bill is that high customer care guy said that because you have consumed 2500 MB of data and for just 500 MB of 2G data they have charged me Rs 6000 extra. I was very surprised and also was feeling cheating because the consumption was stating 1600 MB and customer care was saying 2500MB. Then too i requested them to restart my outgoing but they were rigid on there policy and were not even bothered for my inconvenience. Everybody can have idea that how much a phone is important for everybody in today’s time.

I am a loyal customer to Vodafone and still want to continue , as my contact no. is my identity now . i want Vodafone to leave the internet charges as it was clearly a miscommunication from thereside. and also want them to apologise to me for causing such inconvenience to me.
