Dear sir, this is regarding the roaming charges inflicted by Vodafone while in international roaming. I had traveled to Kabul (Afghanistan) on 10th Oct 2013, with a mobile balance of approx Rs.150. I turned my mobile ON on landing at Kabul.after returning back I checked my bal and was surprised to c only rs. 0.40. Then again I went to kabul on 26th, n this time my account went to -ve bal of rs 114 and my mobile data wouldn’t work. Then I contacted customer care, they told me tht “when I enter international roaming automatically rs 99 will be deducted”. But I nvr got any intimation in sms form for any such deductions, due to which I kept my phone ON in kabul a second and got a -ve bal in my account. But whn I asked whr my remaining bal money went, the customer care says tht ” its due to the SMS I READ while in roaming, and was charged rs15 per sms. When I complained about this to nodal office of vodafone, they refused to accept any such charges and were not at all willing to explain or co operate, neither willing to give a refund. In spite of several contacts wth them, they couldn’t resolve this issue, hence I to approach ur office.
I want a refund of the money deducted without any appropriate reason. Also tht Vodafone should try to resolve customer problems and not hush away issues. Also want tht Vodafone comes up wth a genuine explanation of every penny deducted from my account.
