I had taken a connection from Vodafone bearing number 9819468320. Consequent to my transfer from Mumbai to Gurgaon, I checked up about “Portability of same number”. After learning that this facility will be available only at ROAMING RATES, I requested for immediate discontinuation on 23/11/2012. I followed up to know the status of my request vide chain of mails and contacts. Efforts to contact a Relationship Manager also failed. On 19/12/2012, I received a mail informing that disconnection will be done on 26/12/2012. I have received a bill on 23/12/2012 for the period 18-11-12 to 17-12-12. I am paying the bill dated 23/12/2012 as gentle customer and highly protest this unethical and anti consumer practise.

1. Charging of rentals and cahrges only upto 26/11/2012, i.e. thre days after the notice of disconnection and refund of excess amount. 2. Token peanlty of Rs.1,000/= ( One thousand ) only towards the delay and deficiency in service.
