My car will turn 4 yrs old very soon and the engine is changed last year. Still I am about to get the average 17km/ltr., as per VOLKSWAGEN’s advertisement. The average which I get is just between 10 to 11.

I have been to VOLKSWAGEN ksm nerul workshop (autobahn nerul) as well as the shaman workshops. There is no co-ordination between VOLKSWAGEN INDIA stores which supplies parts to these workshops. Many a times it takes too long to deliver the smallest part to these workshops. The workshop representatives can’t give the exact time when the part will arrive nor they can the give the exact time it will take to deliver the car from the workshop.

The workshop representatives often go for lunch on different timings, creating a mess. If the job card is prepared, the mechanic is off for lunch. If the car is ready, the cashier is off for lunch.

Recently I sent my driver to the shaman downtown workshop for the 5th service and also to correct the noise from the front right side . It was on the 14th of may 2014. I was told that the front reflector has to changed to get rid of the noise. Also I was suggested that the front and rear shock absorbers should be changed . I gave them nod to do the work. Mr kunal sakaria was looking at the car. He must have given the order for the parts. On 20th I enquired about the status of the car, I was told that the front shock absorbers have been changed and some part regarding the rear shock absorber has not been delivered . I waited till 24th may , frustrated by this I got my car by 3 pm after talking to Miss Kanchan Mishra , assistance customer care executive.

On 27th the reverse gear of my car was stuck. I took the car back to the shaman downtown workshop. Mr yosuf told me that the gear knob has been damaged, he will have to order the new part . this part alongwith the rear shock absorber part ( which has been ordered on the 14th and still not arrived) will take 5-6 days .

Is VOLKSWAGEN INDIA’s parts being delivered from Germany? Or is it like this that you make the part once it is ordered?
