Voltas AC – Gas leakage issue not resolved

Dear sir, Through this email, i would like to intimate you the concerns of an end user who bought and are buying Voltas products (voltas AC). I became the victim during January 2012 when i purchased the Voltas split AC of 1.5 ton from Noida at a cost of Rs. 29,770/-. Sir, since then in the 3 seasons, i have used your product, the gas has leaked 4 times. Twice during the 1st year itself (12.06.2012 and 29.09.2012) and then every year after then. Being in warranty, you service people refilled free of cost. i kept of pushing them that there is something wrong in the machine but nobody heard. the second time, the gas got leaked was during Sept 2012. The AC was not used after that and during the summer last year, again there was a problem in the AC. i was made to pay Rs. 2100 for the gas and rest for the transportation and visiting charges as per the company policy. I again requested to please address the main issue as why the gas is leaking so frequently and i was assured that such kind of problem would never happen again. This was the time of August/Sept 2013. Now in this season again your AC started giving the problem and today your technician told that the gas has leaked again. The details of the service report are given below: Service Report no: 6115 dated 24.08.2014 Call Slip no: 14082305469 Swift Aircare Shop no: 10, Chauhan Market Sector 44, Noida When i show their people, the Hitachi AC installed in another room running perferctly fine for the last 8 years, then the answer i receive is that hitachi and O’gen are the best brands. Voltas is cheap that’s why such kind of problems occur. Moreover, they tell me that the atmosphere of Noida accelerates the leakage of the gas. but in the same atmosphere, the Hitachi AC is working well. Moreover, they are not producing any bill for he spares which we are buying from them. i have confirmed from the market that the spares are available at half the cost which the service centre is charging. Since there is no bill, i cant verify whether the rates are genuine or not. there is no response from the Voltas team which is advertising the AC as “India ka AC” I request to you to please look into the matter and help me in this regard.

I want the replacement of the product as the same problem is going to come next season also.
