The below text mail is the response I got from my local Bank’s branch manager. In spite of acting the organisation is washing their hands off the matter. Sir if bank has NO technology to trace & track the culprit, it has no rights to suppress the customers. The Below text message is from the SBI, Lewis Road Branch, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. sbi.05093@sbi.co.in 19:08 (4 hours ago) to me Dear Sir, We have received your fax message and mail . But from the mail it is not clear whether you have complained to the banking omdusman regarding the fake note you got from SBM ATM while drawing money. Even if you have complained , it is not clear while complaining to the banking ombudsman, you have disclosed your card number and secret PIN number to the ombdusman .Whether the ombudsman has sought these particulars or you have mentioned on your own. Please note that our bank is giving wide publicity in different medium not to disclose the secret PIN number of ATM CARD to any body.In the present case we are not aware what happened between you and the man Mr Mohan Kumar posing himself as SBM employee We are not sure how two calls to your mobile can be made at the same time i.e when Mr Mohan Kumar is talking with you and a call from state bank customer care can be made. we expressed our helplessness in the matter and the refunding of amount does not arise.
