I have bought AC of Whirlpool of India in mid of 2009. This year it fan motor gone bad for which I lodged a complaint # HR0613001475 on June 4th and # HR0613011831 on 29th for it. After wasting more than one and half month they are saying that we are unable to support as part is not available. And giving a resolution to buy back it at 60 p.c depreciation with transport charges being levied i.e Rs 1000/- and I have been asked to give them roughly 17000/- more to get replacement of AC ( I have bought this for Rs. 18000/-) I am not interested as the product support life cycle is atleast 10 years and its company libaility to provide me complete refund of AC if they are not able to procure part and fix the AC.
I want complete refund of my money as i feel cheated for a product which is not being fixed in just 4 years of its life span. As Homeappliances product has min. support cycle of 10 years .
