Whirlpool Washing Machine – Stopped functioning – Review

I purchased this fully automatic whirlpool washing machine last year and paid for extended warranty too. This April the machine stopped functioning. After repeated complaints, phone calls and mails it was taken to workshop and returned with the promise that the problem has been resolved. But the same defect appeared the very same day. I lodged the last complaint on 22 April but still waiting for some solution by the company. During all this while I was told that the complaint has been escalated to the higher officials and they will call me to take stock of the situation, which never happened. I was also told that a senior engineer will visit my residence, which too did not happen. At times the customer care did not have the details of my last complaints and I ended up lodging a fresh complaints. Even after repeated request, no one from the company cared to inform me over the situation and now it has been two months since i lodged the first complaint.

I want Whirlpool to replace this machine immediately with a properly functioning one. I have been made to understand that this machine is beyond repair and no amount of effort or visits can make it operational. I also would like a written apology from the company for their unprofessional and unethical behaviour
