I purchased a Xolo Q1200 handset on November 16th 2014. IMEI: 911372150075860. After 2 months use it got damaged. The problem is the battery drains up so fastly and unexpected turnoff. Then i noticed that the color change in display and battery is getting swollen. I stopped using it and took to the service center. Then i know that current service center for Xolo In Kollam(Kerala) is stopped and new one will start only after two weeks. I contact them through filling details on the form they provided in there website. But no reply from them. Then i contact them through telephone, after a large amount of try i get connected. i told all the problem to the customer representative, buy sadly i didnot got a positive response. They said they cant do anything with that phone. Battery problem not in warranty just like they try to avoid the problem. They said i have to change the damaged parts. Why should i pay for a new 2 month used product which is currently under warranty? Currently i gave that device to the service centre in Ernakulam (150+ km from my place). I mailed them too, but not yet they replied.
Am looking for compensation. I dont want to go with this brand anymore. maybe they will change the battery and gave it to me. its already swollen and it cause some problems to screen already so even if they change the battery how can i make sure the life of that phone. When i search about this model in detail on internet. this battery problem is a common issue. so its a manufacturing defect. I want compensation for my handset. Because during all these days i cant use phone. i miss so many calls. Kindly do necessary Steps. Thank you.
