The seller issued me an invoice without a TIN number, and upon asking of the extra charges over the MRP, he said that the taxes and charges are included in the bill. The invoice does not mention any extra service tax or charge, and the bill looks like: Bill Number: 40 Date: 7/23/2013, 9:58:53 PM Item Qty Amount Cold Drink 600 ml 1 38 /- The MRP of the cold drink is Rs 30. Also, the service that he provides has no value.

Upon asking, he refused to cut down the prices, and excused by saying that these are the taxes and extra charges that have been levied. But there was no tax payer’s identification on the invoice. No physical damage was made.

I intend on getting my extra payment back (on MRP), with a fine of Rs 500, on the time spent and as a compensation of the forgery (if considered by the department) by the seller.
