Dear Sir, I am a loyal Vodafone customer since last many many years holding 02 accounts on my name ( 9820815570 & 9769136261 ) I would like to bring your kind attention towards wrong bill raised against one of my Vodafone no 9769136261 for the period from 11th June 2014 to 10th July 2014. A couple of months back I had purchased a new Samsung handset & along with new handset i had got a special 3G data pack offer for first 2 months 1 GB each month absolutely complementary. This offer got activated automatically when i started using my handset. Ideally this data pack should have been deactivated after the consumption of 1 GB Or This special privilege should have been got deactivated after the completion of 02 months ( on 10th June 14 ) or I should have been updated that my pack is over & i am being charged for current usage Or I should have been informed by sms/ email/ call that this special complementary offer is over or about to over so i should get a new data pack activated.
Being very old customer with Vodafone i am well aware that Vodafone is very professional company & has a very strong back up system to update customers on their usage & activation & deactivation of services. Due to my absence of any information from Vodafone i kept using 3g data services only to realize on 22 June 14 that complementary offer is over & i am being billed for the usage from 11th June onwards. Technically i am at fault that i did not call to Vodafone to disconnect my data plan after completion of 02 months, but Ethically Vodafone is at fault. Vodafone should have called me to update me that my free data pack is over & i should get different paid data packs activated available with you or you should have disconnected the offer. In my case none of these are followed & i have been billed for the usage during 11th June to 22nd June 14.for which i am being billed for Rs.2108/- . This is absolutely not justified. This is purely trapping customer unaware & making some extra money. This does not suits to the organization like Vodafone. I humbly request Vodafone to take a sincere & kind approach towards my case which is not only genuine, but also justified on the scale of business ethics & wave off Rs. 2108/- from my current pending bill. If my request will not be considered i will have no option but to discontinue this number as my financial conditions & other domestic commitments does not permit me to pay such huge amount for using cell phone. I really hope you would kindly consider my sincere request & oblige.
