I purchased xolo mobile on 5th apr 2014, after few days I was facing charging problem as it was taking long time to charge but since I had only one smartphone so I ignored it, but on 26th may it even after keeping phone on charging for 5 hours it charged only 42%. so on 27th may i visited to Media enterprises (dombivli), they checked mobile and told me that there is liquid damage so it wont be covered under warranty, and i have to replace it though I was sure that there is no liquid damage has done from my side, but since it was my first time and xolo is a reputed brand so I didn’t made any argument asked them to replace that damaged part and became ready to rs. 550 as repairing charge. on 3 rd June I paid 550 rs i have receipt of that, and got my mobile back. I was shocked to see that they have changed display of mobile when I asked them about this they told me that there was problem in display so we changed it, I asked them to mention it on bill they told me that you don’t have to pay for that so we cant mention it on bill, on 4th, 5th and 6th June i made 3 complaint to xolo by there website and email. but I didn’t got any response. On 10 th June I faced same type of charging problem. on 11th June when I went to xolo centre they again told me that its liquid damage. this time i told them not to repair and told them i am going to consumer court. then they told me to wait. after 1 hour there technician told me that please keep your handset we will repair it free of cost. When i told them last time they had replaced my screen they everyone in centre denied that they didn’t change it. on 9 th June i got a unsatisfactory reply from xolo “We would like to inform you that “Media Enterprises” is our authorised service centre. You need to co-ordinate with them for any handset related issues and information.”
Xolo should change my handset. and should take strict action against Media enterprises.
