I purchased a new Xolo smartphone (model Q700) on September 1, 2013 from the Univercell showroom in Anna Nagar, Chennai. Only two months later, the touchscreen stopped working. I submitted the phone to Xolo’s service centre in Chennai, F1 Services, Kilpauk on November 7, 2013 (work order number: 310000146711, IMEI number: 911310450668406). They told me the phone would be repaired and returned to me within calendar days. It has now been more than one month and during this time, I have received no communication from either Xolo or F1. The F1 centre has switched off all their phones and when I went in person they said they do not have my phone and it is in Bangalore. I have called the Xolo helpline several times and each time they say “it’s in process” and that they don’t know when they will give it back. They have also not given me any standby phone. They refuse to return my phone or my money (Rs 10,000). For a new phone to last only two months is quite shocking. I feel like I have been cheated out of my money and have no hope of ever seeing my phone again. Even the customer service centre staff have no clue what is happening.
I would like my phone returned in proper working condition, or a new replacement phone, or my money back as fast as possible.
