I purchased a Yamaha R15(White Blue) Bike on 12-Jan-2014 from BM Enterprises, Meerut. Shivam Bhatia is the GM of the Showroom. He quoted the price of the Bike Rs. 129500/- (on road) to me. I issued a Demand draft for Rs. 129500 from IOB Bank, Meerut. But on the sale day, He handed me the bill of Rs 117653. On asking him about the rest of the money he stated that rest of the amount comprises of the Insurance, Road Tax and Vehicle’s in-Showroom Maintenance Cost. He calculated the amount as follows- Ex-Showroom Price- 117653 Insurance- 2214 Road Tax(Registration)- 8235 This should be 5% of the Exshowroom cost, as per the RTO guidelines attached, but I think they have charged more. 5% of Rs.117653 is 5882 Maintenance Cost- 1400 The Total of which comes to 129502/- for which I paid him 129500/- through draft. I queried him about the maintenance cost but he replied that its the amount that customer has to pay. But as per the discussion with the Customer Service Executive, that cost is inclusive in the Ex-Showroom Price. Then why had he charged me with extra Rs.1400/-?. Also this Rs.1400 was not added in the bill he gave. If this is inclusive in the ex-showroom price of the vehicle, then he should have mentioned that in bill. That states there is something wrong. Also I complaint about this in Yamaha India. Its been 1 month and I have got no feedback. Furthermore, Now when I try contacting on their Customer Care Number(18004201600), my call is kept on hold for almost 30-40 mins and later it gets disconnected. Kindly look into the issue and help me to get my money back and stop this nuisance that he or Yamaha is doing with the people I am attaching the relevant documents with this
I want my money back and the any appropriate relief cost for the pain, time and efforts that have been consumed in chasing the people involved in this.
