Indiatimes Shopping Mismatching of Product

Sequence of Events: 26th March – Online payment for buying sandals of UK size ‘9’ worth Rs. 1294/- 1st April – I received the product but a different size, i.e. UK size ’10’ which was not I ordered for. Since then I filed a case with the indiatimes shopping and I was assigned a case manager Anjali for the reverse pickup of the wrong product so can dispatch me a new product I filed this case on 1st April and since then approximately 20 days have passed and I have been calling them regularly for when my case manager will get in touch with me regarding a product replacement. Since I am a student, I am busy in classes in morning and instructed them to get in touch with me after 12 noon. Inspite of what I notified to them, they called me in the morning and most of the time I am unable to get in touch with them. After that when I am free I never get a call to address my issue. I have already called them like 15-16 times in their customer service and all I am getting from this apology and one solution that I will get new product only once that wrong product has been replaced. I don’t understand why is it my fault that I’ve received a wrong product. Now the problem here is that they can’t send me a new product until they get the wrong one and no one from indiatimes shopping is looking for my case and trying to arrange for a reverse pickup. I am fed up of calling them and asking for a product replacement. Everytime a new customer service agent talks to me and assures me that my case manager will call me today which has been happening since last week but not a single promise has been kept. I am frustrated and feel customer harassment as I am not getting a new product and their is no one to address my issue. All these sequence of events have led me to file a consumer complaint against indiatimes shopping and I hope some action be taken regarding them.

I want to be compensated for these lousy service. The product Sandal which I have ordered is for my day-to-day use and You people can guess that it’s not a luxury product. It’s a necessity for which I have paid in advance and almost one month has passed since my product replacement. So I want to make a legal action against them for their negligence.
