I placed an online order for two steam cookers(Rs 7000) which were gifts for my mother and aunt. After three days I received an email from rediff team asking me to send them my credit card copy, passport copy and authorization letter. After I replied that I’m not comfortable sending across my credit card copy over email, they simply went ahead and cancelled my order.

Asking for credit card copy is a breach of security. Innocent customers who fall for this are at putting their bank information at high risk.
