I am dissatisfied with the performance of Croma tablet that was bought on 11 July 2013 from Croma store at Connaught Place, New Delhi. 1. Just after buying the tablet, when I received the first call, I found that the volume is too low to hear voice clearly even at the full volume level. 2. Its charger stopped working just after 2-3 days. 3. Its camera stopped working after 7-8 days. Then I requested Croma Customer care via e-mail dated 19.07.2013 to refund my money but they told me to bring it to store. I brought the tablet to store on 23.07.2013 and was told to submit the device for repair. I submitted it the same day and got it back 15 days later on 08.08.2013. Again on 10.10.2013 camera stopped working & I have to visit Croma store for getting it repaired. It was repaired, but again on 26 Feb 2014, the camera of the tablet stopped working. Now, when I asked customer care representative to refund money via e-mail dated 26.02.2014, I was told to visit the store and they also told that refund confirmation has to be given by the store. What is the use of customer care, if I have to visit store even for confirming decision from the seller? Sir, I can’t visit Croma store again and again for the same problem and hence requesting you to intervene and get my money refunded at the earliest so that I can buy some better device. The complete e-mail conversation with the Croma is attached here-with as pdf.
I want that Croma should take back its device and refund amount of Rs.9489 (8990 for device + 499 for the cover that I bought later). Some penalty should also be levied on Croma so that it will not harass its customers in future & don’t reply reluctantly.
