I am the customer of HDFC bank with a/c no. 13471050018xxx, it was a salary a/c opened in 2010, after few months I left the job. In 2012 I sent a mail to hdfc support that what to do with this a/c. Shall I closed this a/c or continue with this. Got no reply from HDFC. On 26 may 2014 by mistake I’ve deposited an amount of 7000 Rs. into HDFC, then I went to withdraw that money. The bank said that you have only 1800 Rs left and approx 5200 Rs have deducted from your a/c. When I asked the reason for deduction they said this a/c automatically converted from salary to saving a/c. And you should maintain at least ten thousand Rs in your a/c, but you did not do so, so we have charged from the deposited money. I went to Noida sec 18 HDFC branch, I talked to branch manager Mr. Prawan Sharma, he told me that we intimate you for all the transactions, but trust me I didn’ get any kind of intimation from my bank, not even one sms. They deducted 5200 Rs without any notice, without any text message, without any intimation or document. When I said that I have sent you the mail regarding my a/c he gave his email id prawan.sharma@hdfcbank.com and said that send me that mail, I sent him back, marked CC to support@hdfcbank.com but got no reply. Then my branch executive Mr Harish Sharma called me one day and told me that come to the branch, we will discuss it together and try to revert your amount back. But when I go there he changed completely and said that maintain your minimum balance Ten Thousand and make a proper customer of hdfc. I denied then I talked to branch manager Ms Taruna Singh, but she didn’t take any interest, and said I can’t help you out in this matter. I am really depressed with this pathetic service of HDFC, where the cheated customers, deduct there balance without notice or intimation.

I just want my 5200 Rs back, that I have deposited by mistake into HDFC a/c no. 13471050018067. They converted my salary a/c into saving a/c. They told me that they charged the amount to maintain 10,000 Rs into saving a/c. I didn’t get any notice, any kind of intimation, even not an sms on mobile. I hope you will do something positive so that I can get my amount back.
