I have booked a car for travel from Jaipur-Delhi-Jaipur (for two days 17th and 18th August 2014). The booking was done on 16th evening 7.30 PM. They have taken full payment of Rs. 6750/- through Credit card. At 10.00 PM same day, I received a call from a company person informing me that they have cancelled the booking as they could not arrange the booked car for travelling to Delhi for 2 days. I immediately asked them to refund the money paid by me immediately. Though he advised that the money will be credited back to my credit card within one week only. Just because of this fault of the company’s booking system without verifying the availability of services offered, I could not visit to Delhi even though I have booked my rooms for 2 days. After 7 days, I called up the company and one lady named Rashmi replied and lodged a request on my behalf for the refund. Now today after 13 days, I have not been refunded the amount. I called the company number again and they advise that they are not aware of these matters and call in the morning. I request you to Kindly look into the matter and take serious steps to stop the activities of such arrogant and mismanaged services. And kindly take steps to arrange for refund the amount of Rs. 6750/- immediately through this vendor. I have now been advised by credit card company for the payment of this amount. Kindly advise me earliest and also advise whether I have to take these matter to PMO for stopping the activities of such vendors so that e-commerce space in India is cleaned of such mismanaged vendors.
I want the refund of Rs. 6750/- plus damages for denying me the Delhi visit. I want the government machinery to stop the company from fooling the citizens of India again. They should be suitably reprimanded and given short ban from their present activities. Just as I was writing this complaint, I got a mail from them regarding refund and I am attaching the same. But I still want no citizen to be fooled by companies like these.
