Sir my car broke down on 4th August while going to Sihmla from Solan. Upon reaching to service center they diagnosed that a part “Torsional Beam” of rear treys has broken (Which is a rarest of rare case , this part doesn’t brake until unless its not a accidental case. As this is the part of the chassis upon which the whole weight of the vehicles body rests , so its a big safety flaw). The mechanic at the service center said that it is broken down because of the pot hole in the road. So they asked us to leave the vehicle at service center as they don’t have the part available with them as of now and have to order it. After one week i.e. 11th of August they have send the order for the particular part. We asked the service center many times after that about the part’s arrival but every time they said it will take few days. Finally after 2 weeks when the part didn’t arrived , I called the Fiat Customer care center and lodged a complaint on 24th of August. When asked for the complaint number the lady on phone said that it will be sent on your mobile number after the call. So i hung up but no message came regarding the same. Next day I called again and asked for the complaint number but the guy was not taking my complaint , but after my being very admen finally he write a compliant and given me a complaint number #1-454471241. He said the complaint has been forwarded to the complaint department and also updated me that the part has been sent out for delivery that day only. He told me that it will take 5 working days for part to reach the service center in Solan.After 5 days still the part didnt reached so i called up again and discussed the matter with shashak from Fiat customer care he assured me that he will escalate it to regional manager and will update me next day. Next day when I didn’t received any call from Shashank i called up again and talked to him in the evening. He apologies for not calling up and updated me that part has been ordered from service center today i.e. 2nd September. I am not sure who is lying here either fiat customer support or the fiat service center.
I want to set a example to Fiat guys that they should not take thrie customers for granted. Every time I called their customer support they said that they will arrange a call with some senior manager with in few hours , but which never happened. Every time its me who have to call them again and to narrate my whole agony to them again and again. Its been a mental harassment. Please give me some solution so that in future they don’t repeat any such incident with any of their customer
