This complaint is for an Online Shopping Portal. Sands Shopping Hub. This company claims itself to be a ISO certified company on its website www.sandsshoppinghub.com and hence being a consumer it gives some kind of assurance of the portal being not FRAUD. It is just not me who have faced a FRAUD, There are many comaplaints ONline about this company. I got a call from this online shopping portal named sandsshoppinghub.com saying that my mobile number has been shortlisted by their company for a promotional offer which has a Dell laptop, iPhone etc to as assured gifts. After saying so the call executive transfers the call to his superior whose name is Vijender Yadav. This guy says that in order to avail the products I need to register with their portal and asks to pay an amount of Rs. 6999/- first. Though he keeps on telling over the phone that this amount will be refunded after completion of the call. I make this payment of 6999.00 to them only to find out later that they have cheated me. After this this person named Vijender Yadav again asks me to make a registration with 25000.00 for VAT registration. At this point I realize myself to be uncomfortable to make this registration, even though he keeps me telling that the amount will not be deducted from my account (which were the same words he kept on telling me while making the registration of 6999.00). This raises suspicions in my mind and I tell him that i do not want to avail this offer since I am not comfortable with processing of 25000.00 as VAT registration or whatever and hence request him to please cancel my registration and return my money. At this point he starts compelling me to make the transaction and the tone and attitude changes distinctly over the phone. At the end he assures me to have my registration cancelled and refund my money. However I have not get my money back till date. My Transaction Reference Number is 0637752537
Even After making numerous calls to the person named Vijender Yadav, he has not only been unreachable but also have been making false promises to refund the amount. The company executives are equally misbehaved and are a complete nonsense to online consumer market in India. Claiming itself to be an ISO certified company on website it has not only misguided consumers online but has also cheated people sums of money which holds pretty much significant value at consumer’s end. Fraud and Cheat portal like this should be banned and stringent action should be taken legally. On account of financial losses and mental harassment I would like to claim INR 9000.00 and want some stringent legal action to be taken against this online shopping portal for the common welfare of all consumers
