A Consumer’s Experience With Xolo Service Center

Hello Sir/ madam , I am writing this mail based on the Xolo Mobile Work Order number :310000834065
Model :Q1000

I had a very very bad Experience with the Xolo Service center. Based on the DHLService tracking number mentioned above .i have called the VR XoloService center [Indranagar ,Bangalore] for the collection of my mobile and they have informed that mobile got arrived and please come and collect the mobile.

Based on the status information given by the service center i have dialed the contact number for the collection of mobile on 1st november but no one picked up the mobile then i visited the shop and came to know that shop is holiday for kannada Rajaustava(local holiday)- Here no issues

On 3rd november i have reached the Service center office by 10 am in the morning for the collection of mobile since they have mentioned working time is 10 am – 7 pm . But they have opened the shop by 10. 30 and they asked to wait for some time, then after 20 – 30 min they have informed that shipment is not yet reached .

when i asked why you have told that shipment was arrived ?
Their answer is really horrible. he was telling that ” we taught it will come but it didn’t what can we do ? ”

I have applied 1/2 day leave for collection of mobile since my home to the service center is 12 km apart i came to hear this statement 🙁 I have left the service center with really frustration and disappointment)

On 4th November i called again they have informed that shipment is not yet reached .

On 5th November i called again they have informed that shipment is reached bangalore you may come and collect the mobile on the following day

On 6th November as usual i have applied 1/2 day leave to the office and reached the Service center by 10. 30 and again they asked me wait for 30 min then they came with the mobile .
They gave the mobile with complete display broken[Display glass scattered] . Initially i have told that this is not my mobile , then when i checked the IMEI number ,OMG it was my phone and i really shocked!

Then i asked how that it happened ? They told that during shipment of mobile from main office it got damaged since this mobile they have put it into the scrapped mobile box from the head office during the shipment and he is not all willing to take any action and not accepting it is their responsibility.

I have asked why didn’t have told previous day when i have called over the phone for the status. He was simply telling that we want to show the physical damage to you that’s why sir! we have told like that .In phone we can’t simply explain the state of the phone.

[Do they think we don’t have any other work other than coming to sevice center daily]

I have told many times to send the mobile to main office for replacing the damaged screen . He was telling that if we send the mobile to main office we will not sure you will get the replacement and we will not give any commitment about the duration.

i told that i will go the consumer court for this he was calmly telling that you can do whatever you want and finally he gave one wonderful offer such that i have to pay 3900 which they have quoted by the main office noida earlier [ Refer previous mail ] then they will send the mobile to the service to the main office.

Then i called the customer care number and explained all the story to him, [Thank God he understood my concerns],he told me handover the phone to the service manager [Jeevanathan] talked for some time and they told that they will be taken up for repair with a new service order.a new order is created 310000891444.

Openly telling my mobile does’t have any big problem in few areas of the screen i could able to see the mirror image in the other end. I have showed to the local service center guy , he told that this could be mostly software problem if you reflash the Operating system problem might be resolved .

Then i have taught that still mobile is in warrenty period , so it would be a better to get it rectified from the skilled technician.i just went to show the mobile whether it is hardware / Software problem on 11 th October [Saturday] They have informed that Saturday they will not do any service .They told that you can give the mobile we will update on monday. On monday they told that we don’t have the spare sparts for this model we have to sent to main office[Noida].

[Note: It is almost a month i since gave the mobile for repair [11-10.2014] just to check and report the status .How much time you really took to get it repaired ?]

I have wrote this mail not be blame or point out someone.I just want to inform the ground reality of the service center .

I am really wondering that people in the metro city [Bangalore]is facing this much difficult to get the service

PS:
I have attached the Mobile purchase bill , old order and new order number for your reference.
I kindly request you to return the mobile as the state i have given before servicing.
