I bought a policy 4034i/CHC/05061327/00/000 from ICICI Lombard (Mediclaim) 10/12/2009.

I paid premium for the 1st year upto 10/12/2010
I also paid premium for the 2nd year upto 10/12/2011

My child was born on 24/04/2010 they said :-
a) Your child has to be 3 months only then he can be included in the policy.
I waited for 3 months
b) After 3 months I called they said only on renewal the child
can be added.
c) What happens if I have paid for 2 years in advance.
They said a child can be added only after 2 years.

I THINK THIS IS CRAZY…..!!! I have to wait for 2 years ….?
IRDA should do something with ICICI LOMBARD
