Service of the packer mover used: Air shipment for international shipping of our household items from Mumbai to Dubai due to transfer from Mumbai to Dubai on 27-28/11/14. Weight of shipped items : 713 kg ( as measured by shipper at their facility) As against assurances and promises made, our fine and expensive items like lamp shade, idols, crockery, decorative items have arrived totally broken. Box with clothes is missing. These items have been collected over a period of 15 years during our travel in India and abroad. Packers have hardly used any proper material like bubble wrap /corrugated cardboard Instead chose to wrap the items in newspaper. Packers were just a group of men with no training , no tools and grossly insufficient material. For some items procured from Japan we had retained the original packing and instructed packers not to change it. However, they have opened and inserted extra items. As a result even original superior packing has not helped. The packer insisted on cash payment for a total bills amounting to Rs 143000. However, gave the name of a different company “ Aircon international Packer and mover” when we insisted on doing cheque payment. Packer insisted on giving names of 4-5 persons in Dubai in whose name the shipment will be done. They said that shipment of 700 kg cannot be made in one name. None of the above items was told to us when they gave the quotation or were packing. On our follow up Mr. Shravan’s behaviour has been very rude and irresponsible. He refuses to take any responsibility for damage or lost items. We have suffered great loss both emotional and material, having lost our possessions of a 15 year old household.

1)The foremost relief we want is that strict action be taken against the packer and mover for providing worst service of intl moving. Their business permit for packers and movers be revoked with penalty. Case of cheating and gross negligence be started. 2) Financial compensation of Rs 2, 55,000 for material damage and emotional distress and harassment be provided from the packer and mover. We are providing an example of the damage. We also have documents of quotation, invoice. As we have moved to Dubai our India phone number will not work .
