Sir, Trivandrum International Airport is southernmost airport of the country geographically located closest to Indian ocean.There is huge demand from the region to Middle east, South east asia, Europe, USA and South African countries. Kindly request to allow more direct flights in these routes. Adjacent to new international terminal recently inagaurated, a new domestic terminal as per master plan is to be newly built for integrated operations of domestic and international flights. I welcome construction of new domestic terminal. In this context, I request you to consider converting the existing domestic terminal on the west side of airport (shangumughom side) as a integrated Low Cost Carrier (LCC) terminal comprising both domestic and international low cost airlines.
