Airtel broadband False Commitments and Delay in Shifting

I wanted to use this forum to apprise all of you about this incidence of bharti airtel’s negligence. I have been using airtel broadband since April this year. I had made advance payment for 6 months while taking the connection , Its been around 4 months that I was using airtel . Recently I shifted to a new place and requested for internet shift. On 21st of July I called airtel and after my call I received a message from airtel saying that my request will be closed before 26th of July. I was not given any updates on my request until 25th evening. I then called airtel customer care 1. Over the call on 25th I was promised that an executive will visit my premise on 26th at 10 am. I was a bit relaxed. To my surprise no action was taken until 26th evening. 2. I again called Airtel on 26th evening. Had a long conversation with executive, his senior and now the senior promises that some one will surely come to make sure my internet is up and running. The name of the senior I spoke to is ‘Abhishek Rai’. He said it will be done on 27th by 4:30 pm. 3. On 27th, again the same thing happened there was no updates until 5 pm. I called back airtel , this time they said that they don’t make false commitments and will send somebody by 8 pm. 4. As expected, no one turned up until 8pm. I wasted one whole day waiting for internet and at the end of it what I get is NOTHING. 5. On 28th August at around 11:12 am , I received a call from a lady from airtel. She said Madam this is the last time and someone will surely visit before 3 and my internet will be working today in any condition. Nobody visited! 6. After this also I had repeated calls with airtel team and they say that they need put the wires for which they need to dig earth, which requires an approval. Their executive asked me to give her 2-3 days, it’s been more than 15 days and no action has been taken so far. I am totally disappointed in airtel and will make sure that I post complains against airtel online. I am also willing to take this to consumer court. False commitments were made to me every time I called airtel. There is so much of lack of respect for existing customers. To wrap up I am exceedingly frustrated by airtel’s attempts of false commitments and not meeting their SLAs.
