Airtel Broadband Slow Speed Issues

I’ve upgraded my broadband from 2 Mbps to 8 Mbps last year after the suggestion from the service provider due to frequent disconnection problem. But even after upgraded to 8 Mbps, I was facing the same frequent disconnection and slow net speed. While checking the net speed using appropriate online tools, it shows me that I’ve got only speed less than 2 Mbps at all times. I’ve made numerous complaints on this issue and their technical head at Coimbatore gave me false replies. My internet’s upgrade speed shows 716 Kbps and he repeatedly saying that it is 8 Mbps. Basically : (1) 716 Kbps is not equal to 8 Mbps. (2) 8 Mbps should be download speed, not upload speed. So even while I am placing the complaints these people didn’t accept it or apologize for it, but trying to act very smart and cheated me. After several complaints, finally they have upgraded my service to 8 Mbps on May 2nd week. They called me and confirmed the upgradation. But I have been paid for 8 Mbps speed for many months for which I have been billed. Their technical team confirmed me that this is a glitch on their side and promised me the refund / waiver of the excess fee charged. But till date nothing happened and while trying to call them again and again, I didn’t get proper response at all.

I need the excess amount paid which is nearly about 13,000 INR along with a penalty of Rs. 4,99,999 for my mental torture and time wasted to place complaint calls to them innumerous times.
