Airtel – Deniel Service regular payment bills

My wife is subscriber of Airtel postpaid connection. She was provided her telephone number 9004433xxx when she was working in Reliance. When left the organization she submitted documents and NOC from Reliance to Airtel as it was corporate connection. For last one and half year she has been using same number. There have been few occurrence when Airtel has put number in safe custody and when asked for reason it was told that someone has requested for that. Airtel denied to disclose name of person with whose request the number was put in safe custody. Now the number is blocked for last couple of days and Airtel is refusing to resume services in spite of regular payment of bills. They are saying that the number belongs to company owned – company paid, if that is the case then why they have been collecting payments from her for last one and half year. We have got repeated assurances for Airtel office that the number would be activated soon, but the never did that and the number is not active

I want resolution of the problem. Also want to know why Airtel did not make changes in their system in spite of submitting all required documents. If Airtel says that it is company owned and company paid number I want refund of entire payment made by my wife. Also wanted to know reasons of why Airtel never does what it commits to customers
