I am a user of Airtel Digital TV with my customer ID as 3001350412. I have not recharged my connection since Jan 2013. I have been using the Airtel Mega Pack since the last few years, from the beginning, when the Digital TV was installed. On the morning of September 28 at aroind 2 PM, I received a call from Airtel Digital TV Customer Care mentioing a scheme that, in case I want to renew my package, i need to pay Rs 2100 and i can use the service for 1 Year. I received a confirmation message from the cell number: +91 7838661601 mentioning the same thing. “Dear Customer your ID is 3001350412 and offer recharge is Rs 2100 and get 12 months” I did the recharge at 6.30 PM the same day (28 Sep, 2013) and called up customer care to activate the scheme. I was told that there is no such scheme available and they can only activate 6 months for Rs 2110. Since the same date, I have been following up with Airtel Digital TV over the mails, and have asked them to refund the money the same day itself, as i felt cheated. Earlier they were responding back to the mail, but now they have stopped responding to the mails as well. I have still not used even 1 minute of the Digital TV. I have not even turned the Televison on since last 1 year. I raised a request for the refund of money on the Customer Care number 12150 and was attended by Mr. Shabbir This is complete breach of trust and serious concern to me and wanted to file a case in Consumer Court against Airtel Digital TV
