Hi, This compliant is being raised only after repetitive compliant made to AIRTEL (mail proofs available with me) which I have been making however no resolution has been provided to me till date. Here again I am summarising the matter: In the month of Jan 2014, I got call from Airtel proposing to increase our broadband speed from 1GB to 4GB. We accepted the offer only to the condition that the billing cap of Rs 300 shall remain in our proposed plan as well (you may check page 3 of my Dec 2013 and prior bills the said billing cap of Rs 300 was applicable on my number right from day 1 I took this connection). This was well accepted by your officer, for which request reference number provided to me was 20121325. It came to my surprise, once I recd the bill that my billing cap of Rs 300 was removed and instead other 1000 local mins discount scheme was made applicable to my number without my consent. Post than I sent several mails to Airtel, for which no intelligible reply was sent to me. None of your officer were able to understand the issue or maybe they were not willingly understanding the issue. Post which I recd. call from Nodal Office. The lady told me that error was done from Airtel’s end and such billing cap of 300 Rs cannot be provided in 4GB internet plan. Post discussion, she offered me to migrate to old plan of 1GB so that billing cap of Rs 300 can be provided on my number. Understanding, how hopeless and cheapest Airtel employees are, I accepted it and told her to send me mail confirmation for the same, as till that time I no more had any faith on verbal commitments of Airtel. THIS CALL WAS MADE TO ME ON 2-4 March, 2014. Till now I did not receive any mail confirmation for migration of plan to 1GB with Rs 300 voice Billing Cap. Today, when I checked with customer care, I am apprised of the fact my plan still is 4GB with 1000 local mins. This is a great shock to me as your Nodal Officer to have cheated and miscommunicated with us. Post checking, Now I spoke to Mr. Amit Kumar Nanda, Senior Associate of your company. He told me to write one last mail to 121@in.airtel.com and the matter shall be carefully considered and handled and within 4 hours I will get reply resolving the matter for once and for all. However, I have not recd any reply from AIRTEL as committed by Amit Kumar Nanda even after 24 hours (whereas Amit told within 4 hours matter shall stand resolved and reply shall be given to me) This is my last mail to you. In case the plan is not reinstated to 4GB with Rs 300 Billing cap, I will approach Consumer Court Forum with all the mail traces and voice recordings available with me (clearly indicating the commitments made to me turning false) and file suit against your Company and employees for consumer harassment and emotional loss.
