Airtel – Incorrect billing services disconnected without reason

1. Incorrect billing. I was charged twice for Blackberry Services. 2. Blackberry services disconnected without reason or notice. 3. It took 5 days after the complaint to get issue resolved. The matter had to be escalated to appellate authority. 4. A sim change request was given on 22 Jan 2014 at 1900 hrs at Airtel Showroom on TTK road, Alwarpet, Chennai. It was stated that the sim will get activated within 4 hrs. 5. The sim remains inactive for last 48 hrs in spite of escalating the matter to appellate authority. All the above is gross deficiency of service.

Airtel be asked to pay a sum of ? One Lakh in damages for the menthol agony caused to me. They be asked to pay an additional sum of ? Fifty Thousand for the time spent by me on following this issue. They be asked to pay a sum of ? 10 Lakhs as exemplary damages. This sum may be paid to a consumer organisation. They be asked to reimburse all costs related to this action.
