I ported my number from Airtel to Vodafone. But my bill with airtel was not paid. I received a message from Vodafone that said please make the payment at any airtel store and submit the receipt at any Vodafone store by May 18 2015. I did the same. Due to some reasons I could not make the payment on 18 may and submitted the receipt at above mentioned Vodafone store but my number is now permanently disconnected. According to the shop manager Keerti, the services were supposed to be disconnected by May 19. But I saw in their system it said the number was disconnected at 9am in the morning on May 18. I am not really happy with that.services were actually barred on May 13 even after sending us the message of may 18.

I missed an interview call as it was a telephonic round. Was a big carrier opportunity for me. I had to travel almost 6-7 kilo meters just to talk to the people in the store about getting the number back. Nobody is now able to reach me and it is not going to be possible for me to update my new number to everyone I deal with. It’s a great inconvenience and embarrassing mishap happened to me. I missed a lot of important calls which were related to monitory gains, which resulted in monitory losses.It has hampered my personal and social life in a really enormous way. It has hurt my sense of pride.
