Airtel Pre-Paid Mobile Balance Deduction

Rs.79.00 was debited from available Talktime Value of my Mob.No.99529 50262 on 28/02/2016 and reason was not intimated through SMS. When matter was reported to Customer support on 01/03/2016, No reply was received. Then matter was reported to Grievance Officer on 01/03/2016 who informed me through e-mail dated 07/03/2016 that Rs.79.00 was debited due to continuous Data usage after 06.28pm on 28/02/2016 when no Data Pack was available. So, the debit was valid. In fact, No warning SMS of expiry of Data Pack was received by me on 28/02/2016 and also No SMS was sent to me either before debit or after debit of Rs.79.00 on 28/02/2016. So, I requested Grievance Officer to give details of Data usage of 28/02/2016 (one day only). But, he advised me to pay Rs.50.00 and get Bill of Feb 2016 for verification. Then dissatisfied with his reply, the matter was reported to Appellate Officer who also advised and send same routine reply of Grievance Officer. The point at issue is neither the Grievance Officer Appellate Officer furnished documentary evidence showing details of Data Usage on 28/02/2016 in support of their reply.

Un fair Trade Practice of Airtel Service Provider caused mental agony because details of Data Usage of only one day – 28/02/2016 in support of debit of Rs.79.00 not furnsihed by the Officers. In fact I received Warning SMS at 10.02am on 29/02/2016 that my Data Pack would expire on 29/02/2016 only. So, the automatic debit of Rs.79.00 on 28/02/2016 without any intimation is not justified.
