I Travelled from Lagos (Nigeria) on 5th Dec to Trivandrum( India) transited via Qatar. I reached Trivandrum on 7th morning in QR 506.I had a check-in baggage ( Medium size trolley bag) dropped at Lagos and transited through Trivandrum; found completely soaked in water and packed in a polythene bag one and half hrs.’ later after everyone has left the conveyer belt. Meanwhile I have reported to your counter staff on duty about this . Opened the bag in front of them and shown my cloths , some important documents and bills completely wet. I have asked them to register a complaint but they were not interested it seems. At last a lady staff asked me to write a complaint in white paper and get all the wet paper docs to photocopied to register complaint.
Ameriican Airlines Apology for the inconvenience caused to me and wasting time in addressing my grievance at the airport and denying the fact when the same raised with Qatar airways office. They need to make sure this will not happen to a passenger any more Compensation of Rs 20,000 for the damage and additional expenses caused to me.
