I am using the American Express Jet privilege card, on the date 23rd August It stopped working.I came to know about it once I get a letter into my room from the hotel where I was stayed. Hotel told me, this card is not working and payments are being declined. Later I Also tried to book cab using the card, but card didnt work. I had conversation with Amex Customer care on 23rd Aug Night, where I was told that It was because of technical glitch and the issue is resolved now.Later i again tried to use it, but it didn’t work. on 24th August, i again called Amex and told them the issue, where they said now the issue is fixed and I can pay for the hotel. So I tried the same and again the card didn’t work.

Because of the card, I felt defamation and it was so embarrassing moment when you staying in such a big hotel and your card doesn’t work. I have paid rupees 10000/- INR as annual fee for this card, but amex was unable to provide me proper services. I need at least 400000/- INR as the compensation of defamation + 10000/- INR annual fee.
