This is very dis-heartening to register my total unpleasant experience with American Airline of my last international travel from Chicago to Chennai. I booked my onward journey through New Rainbow Air links Pvt Limited vide reference YNDBAT for your flight QR 529 on 17th Feb 2014 and return by flight no QR 722 on 20th Feb 2014. The tragedy occurred on my return journey from Milwaukee to Chicago on 20th Feb 2014.On this day your flight number AA 2841 was delayed more than 4 hours than their schedule time. Having anticipated that they could not connect flight QR 722, they have arranged a rebooking from Chicago to London / London to Dubai & Dubai to Chennai. This is the most ridiculous thing American Airlines did on that day. Later, I realized that they have temporarily managed to shift me to Chicago from Miwaukkee.They have done rebooking in American Airlines Flight number AA 98 which is scheduled at 21.30 from Chicago whereas their carrier AA 2841 landed in Chicago airport at 21.30 pm! Proper verification of landing and departure time history of both flights on this day will reveal the facts. Otherwise I am not a superman to fly between flights before it is landing or after it takes-off!! But the most disguising part is that I came to know that they did not even communicate this connecting arrangement to the receiving flight for this type of long distance international traveler when both incoming and connecting flight belongs to the same airlines. Otherwise 5 or 10 minutes is not a big difference and your ground staff would have done a better coordination of connecting the passenger from the receiving flight. This is very common and basic service in the case of international travel but of course lot of domestic carriers are doing this service with utmost care and commitment. I am not sure why did I miss this basic service with international carriers who are big and more reputed.

If they respond within specified dates my formal request to refund the ticket charges as well my stay expenses, I will be satisfied. Otherwise I need guidelines to ask for compensation in addition to refund and hotel stay expenses
