2 pieces of MI Xiaomi PowerBank 10400 mAH were purchased vide Order No. AB910684 and AB910606 from AskmeBazaar ii. Both the pieces of product were counterfeit. iii. Order Date was 24th January, received on 2nd February 2015 and initially, two complaints for two products were registered on same day. iv. Complaint No.: QRC77369 & QRC77379 registered on 2nd February 2015. Company executive back called on 10th February 2015, but no further action taken and complaint automatically closed. v. Another complaint registered on 18th February 2015 with complaint numbers QRC116042 & QRC116058 , again complaint closed without any action being taken. vi. New complaint registered on 27/02/2015 with complaint number QRC142133.

Pathetic customer care, make us wait for long time before customer care executive finally speaks. ii. Takes the longest amount of time to file a complaint. iii. Openly selling counterfeit product, the powerbanks have battery’s which may explode resulting in death to an individual. iv. Openly flouting copyrights.

Relief Wanted: i. Refund of Rs. 449 x 2 = Rs. 898/- for both the products. ii. Penalty, as may be deemed reasonable, for selling life threatening counterfeit products as the Govt. may seem desirable. iii. Warning to AskMeBazaar to be careful not to promote such products.
