Axis Bank Credit Card Fee Charged After Cancellation

Harassment by Axis Bank Credit Card Department
Dear sir/madam, I would like to file a complaint against the Axis Bank for Harassment and Mental Agony. I was a credit card holder in the bank ( card no. 5593 4000 0003 2593) which I sent request for cancellation in April 2014. At the time of sending the request , my card balance was in credit to the tune of 1800 INR( i.e the Bank Owed me money). As I was highly disappointed by the service the bank provided on my earlier complaint I decided to discontinue my card.

Initially after confirming the cancellation, they reverted their stand subsequently charged my card with Fess for the next year INR 4500 and now insist that I pay the difference of INR 2700. I reiterated that I was not interested in continuing the card and hence no charges of such nature need to be levied , but apparently they are adamant payment been made There was an earlier incident with bank in which they accepted there mistake after long deliberation. I humbly request that the bank be bought to their senses and stop harassing . I also request the bank to send me the discharge note for the same I request you to intervene in this matter and ensure that honest and law abiding citizens like me are not victims of Axis Banks cheap and immoral tricks Appreciate your prompt action on this matter.

I request the bank to cancel my card and sent me the Credit balance of 1700 . I also request them to send me discharge note .
