After buying our new house in kharghar we gave order to Hometown Vikroli to install a modular kitchen. After going thru all tall promices made by Kitchen section executive Ms. Aparna More, we gave order and payment of Rs. 157000 for our kitchen on 17th August’2011. As per the promice the kitchen wa sto be installed and completed withing 4 weeks. After lot of follow up a partial kitchen was installed on 6th October. There were several incomplete job and certain wooden pieces which were short of actual measurement. It was confirmed to us that a revised order has been placed in their factory somewhere in Nagpur for the balance parts and the kitchen will be completed in next 15 days. Even after several Promises and committments till date those bakance parts have not been received and our kitchen is still incomplete even after 6 months of giving order to hometown.

Meanwhile the kitchen installed so far is giving us all kinds of problem. The drawers which were supposed to be designed to carry weigths upto 40 KGs as committed by Ms. More while taking order is failing in placing just 10-15 kgs. These fitings of kitchen were to hsave 5 years warranty and 10 years on some other fittings. still inspite of several calls the problems have still not been resolved.

Meanwhile we are living in our new house with incomplete kitchen which is also falling apart.

My simple advise to all concerned is that please never get duped with false promises of Hometown and never buy their kitchen or other furnitures.
