I took Bajaj Allianze motor Insurance for my Ford Figo car on 07/09/2013 through web sales and policy is valid till 19/09/07. At the time of sale I was told that my vehicle is covered against malicious act and water ingress engine damage. on June 19 2014 I parked my vehicle in Mohana Market Haldia to buy grocery. When I came back I found that there are lots of scratches on right hand side front and rear doors and left side rear door. also the left side rear view mirror was damaged. I intimated the same to police on 20 Jun 14. I also called workshop at Kolkata and they told to bring the vehicle to kolkata for claiming insurance. I was not aware that i have to intimate the incident to bajaj allianze immediately. I am serving Officer of Indian Coast Guard and posted on board ship at Haldia. Due to busy schedule and sailing I however could not able to go to Kolkata. Recently on 28 Aug I went to Kolkata for servicing of my car and for claiming the insurance. But unfortunately my car was hit by Tata Sumo on AM 28 Aug 14 and was damaged on right side front. Now when I went to workshop I intimated both the incidents. The surveyor visited workshop and passed only the accidental claim. for thae malicious act done to my car at Haldia he said that it is normal wear and tear and insurance company can not pay for that. but I intimated the same to police on same day and GD no was issued on 20 Jun 14 (GD No: 459). but insurance company not accepting this. The delay in coming to Kolkata is only due to non availability of ford workshop at kolkata. Also due to my service requirements and sailing programs of ship I was unable to caome to Kolkata. And when I came on 28 Aug 14 unfortunately I met with another accident. I kindly request you to direct the insurance company to process the claim under malicious act rather than unnecessarily harassing me by telling that it is normal wear and tear.
