I bought a pair of black boots from Bata in Oct 2012. The heel of the shoes gave away within 6 months of use. It had a very different type of heels so it could not be repaired locally, so I had no choice but to bring it to the notice of the store where I bought it from.I do not reside in Delhi. So when I did come down to Delhi I asked if the boots can be repaired. I have a problem in my left foot of an enlarged toe bone so I can’t change formal shoes frequently. So I required these boots to be repaired. The shop was at first very reluctant to take it saying that it will take quite long if rhe boots went for a repair through them. But since I required a good quality repair, I insisted and they took it.They gave me a slip and told me to pick up the repaired boots by the 23rd of Jan 2014. I have gone there to pick up the boots thrice since then but there is no sign of it. It’s very cumbersome to travel all the way from Dwarka so I tried calling them before leaving for picking up the shoes.But instead of giving me an answer they conveniently put me on hold for almost 10 min after which their line could not get connected which is strange because it wasn’t busy either. I need my repaired boots immediately because I have to go back to the place where I work.

I need my repaired boots immediately or a new pair in lieu of the same.
