Bata Sandals – Defective Pieces

Bill No: 02389 I bought a pair of sandals on 31st July from Bata Mulund East store. Not even a week and and the stitching on one of the straps has already come off. As the embarrassment and inconvenience of walking with a strapless sandal wasn’t enough, when I went to the store to get a replacement / refund, the sales executive says, that this is not considered as faulty product and its ‘Ok’ for this to happen. Tells me that they’ll get if fixed in two days. I don’t understand what kind of customer grievance redressal this is. Whatever happened to Bata’s so called ‘Good Quality’ assurance? I would appreciate a swift action on this.
