My name is Nishant Thakur and I have a policy “Bharti AXA Life Bright Stars PLUS” (Policy number – 500-5296735) with Bharti AXA. I took this policy in March 2010 in Kolkata. There were two guys named “Pankaj Singh” and “Amit Gupta” who got my cell number from some reference and approached to me for this policy. I was in transition phase to move from Kolkata to Hyderabad at that time. They convinced my parents on this policy and said wrong benefits (like minimum 12 % return yearly etc.). I took this policy in hurry, because as per them every year, I will be getting minimum 12% return YOY. After 3 months, I saw the policy first time once my parents took it from Kolkata to Hyderabad. I was not happy to see the return amounts specified in policy YOY. Even though I continued the policy, because I had no time to look into that. I paid 5 premiums (25,000 each) total 1, 25,000 rupees till now. After paying 5 premiums, one day I downloaded the statements of account to see the numbers. I was shocked to see the numbers/heavy charges etc. Immediately I called the customer care to close my policy, saying I don’t want to continue anymore. After that Bharti AXA has called me lot of times to change my mind. Bharti AXA staff from Hyderabad came to my office to convince me continuing my policy, but after that I haven’t paid any single premium. I have been told by customer care that after completion of 3 years, I will get your 50 % of total fund value, because policy is already lapsed. I inquired about my account statement recently through customer care and It says I have around “107000” rupees in my account which is obvious not a good figure to look at(Spent 1,25,000 till now). I have made up my mind not to continue this policy anymore and I don’t want any explanation from Bharti AXA side. I have attached their recent reply, when i sent email to them on this.

I want my money back Rs.1,25000 with at least 10% interest.
