I had purchased a Blackberry Q5 on 19th July’14 from a distributor named Trishul Enterprise having it’s registered Office at AE-661, Sector 1 , Saltlake City, Kolkata – 700064, West Bengal, India. I had purchased the Hand Set from City Centre 2, 1st Floor, Kolkata – 700157,WB,India shop. The Batch No. of the set is 356969052372717. As a usual practice when I came home I switched off my new Handset & plugged in for charging as battery was almost in discharged condition. After 2 hours when I tried to switch on the mobile it was not responding. I was stunned!!!! After buying a new Handset within 3-4 hours if the Handset is not responding what else would had been the reactions. I went to the Distributor very next day & raised the Issue. Distributor’s response was that there is some problem. Kindly leave the set . If there is a software problem it will be fixed & returned or else they will raise DOA & change the fone. They told me to bear for 1 day as yesterday being Sunday Service Centre was not opened. I went to their Shop today again in the evening & surprisingly I got an answer that they cannot confirm anything it will take another 3-4 days. Job sheet was raised. ( Pic attached job sheet no. 8031013669). The expected date of receipt is 25th Jul’14. Was not offered a spare set also to use.
I was earlier also using BB 9320 which they said was damaged due to Liquid. Despite that i decided to go ahead with BlackBerry Sets. I had spent 13990/- rupees to buy this fone & it went dead after 2 hours of Purchase. As a Consumer i would never like to use the same set. I had lodged a complaint also in their website having complaint number INC000027696850 & 27696925.Unfortunately no one had contacted the undersigned. Such is the Poor Service.
