am consumer of Calcutta Telephone no 033-26333781 under Bhadreswar, Hooghly, West Bengal exchange. Customer Id 3006641597 Account Number 8006649119 My land line is faulty for more than 6 months. Problems: 1. Some time no dial tone 2. Some time ring is not audible. 3. Caller can hear ring but land phone never rings 4. Very noise even if it happens that call is connected 5. Dialing from land line some times is not audible but you are actually dialing and call is connected. Now, experiencing these problem for last 6 months we complained to Bhadreswer telephone exchange many times. Each time one person came, did something and called to land no and said line is okay. If we ask to change phone set he will install some old used phone set. After some time again same problem starts. Again we complained, same action same result. When I try to call JTO’s no he said your area underground line has problem and these problems are obvious. Again, I tried to complain to 198 no. No one comes to address the issue but complain is removed from system. Further, I stopped paying bills as there there is no reason paying bills for such kind of service. But bills keep on generated. After I put a complain to Appellate Authority i.e. Shri K.C. Ghosh, GM(NWO), CTD, Calcutta Telephone. I personally emaild him repeatedly to appellatectdll@bsnl.co.in to take necessary action and resolve my problem. Nothing has been resolved till date but bills keep on generated for a dead telephone for several months
