BSNL – Tariff Revision without intimation

It is with great sorrow that I, Raviraj Chudasdama (BB No : 0261-2358xxx) write to CORE today regarding the tariff revision by BSNL Gujarat Authority without prior intimation to customer and charged me a heavy bill for a single month i.e July-2014. With reference to trailing email from BSNL Gujarat Customer Care division on dated 25-Jul-2014 regarding Tariff revision from an earlier date before prior intimation to all customers. In the mail which I received on dtd 25.07.2014 stated that Plan for NightFree (BB FN 500) usage has revised to ConcessionalNight(CN) (BB CN 500) from 01.07.2014. I have received my paper bill for the month of June-2014 on dated 15.07.2014. On the backside of the said bill, revision of BSNL’s other plans/scheme which were going to be revised from 01.07.2014 or earlier date were mentioned. But. BSNL did not mention any detail about changes in Night Free Tariff in either May-2014 or June-2014 bill. The said bill copy is attached herewith for your ready reference. BSNL informed their customers regarding this Tariff change on 25-July-2014 through mail. I tried to get the information from the Account Officer (0261-224100/2427885) Mr Shah sitting at BSNL Bhavan, Near Falsavadi, Surat, Gujarat about said matter by visiting the said office but he did not ready to reply/comment anything about the revision of the plan and informed me to represent the matter to Mr. M C Bhavsar, AGM (PG), Surat. I tried to contact AGM(PG) on 0261-2241100 since 01-Aug-2014, but I always received a busy tone. I sent an email to AGM(PG) on email id (agmopsurat@gmail.com) on receiving tariff revision mail on 25-Jul-2014. The mail is still unanswered. I also sent emails to following authority along with AGM(PG).(1) GM (NOW-CFA) on email gmnwocfa@gmail.com (2) email pg_gujarat@bsnl.co.in (3) pg_surat@bsnl.co.in . Mail sent on email ids is yet not answered.

BSNL shall deduct amount for Night Usage which is 9290.70 MB which is as per charges cost me INR 1393.61 I want to request CORE team for the compensation from BSNL for the amount which are wrongly charged without any kind of prior notice by BSNL. I would also like to inform that my Data Consumption is also before 25-Jul-2014. All supporting documents are attached with this complaint.
